Dear Gravely Family, 

I am excited to begin my third year as a Gravely Seadog while working alongside a dedicated team of teachers and staff. 

My education includes a bachelor’s degree in sociology, a master’s degree in special education and a master’s degree in educational leadership. I have had the privilege of teaching in Washington state, North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia while supporting my husband’s, David, military career. Through these experiences I have had the opportunity to teach in a variety of grade levels including kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and middle school special education. 

You can often find me enjoying time on the water paddle boarding, reading, working on puzzles, and spending time with my husband, two sons (Tyler and Josh), and their girlfriends. As a family we like to go on hikes and play games.  

My vision is that all students will excel academically and have equal opportunities to learn. My goal is to continue partnering with our families and teachers to ensure the academic and social success of all our students. 

Together, we will continue to follow Admiral Gravely’s motto:
