Dear Gravely Families,

It is with great joy and deep gratitude that I welcome you to the new school year as your principal. I am honored to lead alongside a passionate and committed staff in a school that holds such meaningful traditions and a shared dedication to academic excellence.

My educational journey includes a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, a master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on technology, and a doctoral degree in Professional Studies in Education. I’m certified in teaching grades K–3 as well as educational leadership and administration.

On a personal note, my husband Marcus and I love spending time at sporting events with our son Myles. A proud former Gravely Seadog, Myles currently attends Gainesville High School.

I’ve been devoted to education for over 20 years, including teaching internationally in Tirana, Albania, and Athens, Greece. Gravely has been my home for over a decade as a kindergarten teacher for five years and as assistant principal for the past six. It is a joy to continue serving this exceptional community.

My vision is simple but powerful: that every student excels and feels seen, supported, and inspired. This year, we will build on our foundation of excellence, foster an inclusive and joyful school culture, and ensure that learning is meaningful and engaging for all. I am committed to championing our students’ success and will always prioritize their academic and emotional growth.
