See below for a list of good summer reading books for 1st graders!  I have also included our first grade supply list!

First Grade

Choose at least 5 books to read together.  Please have your first grader write the title and illustrate a picture to represent his or her favorite part of 5 of the selected books.  In addition, your child may include a list of all the other books that your family read this summer, even those that are not from this list.  Please return this assignment during the first week of school.  Enjoy the adventures!

1 (8x5) hard plastic pencil box

3 marble composition books

1 folder with pockets

4 black (low odor) dry erase markers
