Hello Children!

I am having a great time with my new puppy pal Roscoe.  He is learning how to help me make Mrs. Rosales breakfast.  We did burn the toast one day which set off the fire alarm, but Mrs. Rosales didn’t seem to mind.

I wanted to let you know that Mrs. Rosales will be sending out a choice board each week to your parents through email.  Please read every day and try and do some of the activities from the choice board if you can!

You can also see everyone at our class meetings each week.  Mrs. Rosales will let your parents know all the information.

Well have a great week…Roscoe just woke up and we were going to paint Mrs. Rosales a picture…that shouldn’t make too much of a mess!!

Love,
Pawsative and Roscoe

Hello Children,

I hope you had a nice spring break.  I know it is hard because we have to stay inside a lot but it will get better soon.  Mrs. Rosales has been very busy.  For some reason she is cleaning all the time especially since I decided to give myself a bath in her tub!!  I wasn’t sure how to turn the water off so I just left it running.  It was like having a pool right inside your house!  She said that she would help me next time and that I shouldn’t do that EVER AGAIN!

Oh, I forgot to tell you the best news.  I have a new friend!  His name is Roscoe.  I think Mrs. Rosales named him after Roscoe Riley.  Do you remember those books she read aloud in class?  They were the best.  He kind of looks like this:

Well I have to go… Roscoe said he wanted to figure out which cereal is his favorite.  I think he has dumped all the boxes out on the floor to taste.  I’m pretty sure Mrs. Rosales won’t mind the mess…

 Love,

Pawsative

P.S. I have put some fun review activities you can do while you are at home.  Go to Files and Documents…Extended School Closing Activities…Review Time with Pawsative- Week 2.  I have also added some math journal and review problems for you.  Try and read every day!!

Hello Children,

I hope you are all being kind to your family!   Mrs. Rosales has been just wonderful.  She didn’t even get upset when I got her kitchen floor all muddy from the rain.  I thought my paw prints made a nice pattern across the floor. What do you think?

Anyway, Mrs. Rosales and I miss you very much but it will get better.  Remember the difference between a good day and a bad day is only 24 hours!  Keep doing 3 kind things every day and that will help.

Bye for now…I just spilled my dog food all over the place.  I just know Mrs. Rosales won’t mind. 😊

Love,

Pawsative

P.S. I have put some fun review activities you can do while you are at home.  Go to Files and Documents…Extended School Closing Activities…Review Time with Pawsative.  Do as many or as little as you like…they are optional!

Dear Mrs. Rosales’ First Grade Class,

I hope you are all doing well at home.  I miss you very much!  Mrs. Rosales was able to take me home with her before we left.  I love being in her house.  There is so much to do here.  I have been taking her socks and hiding them!  I also have been eating all her candy…don’t tell her.  I have also been learning some new dance moves and I will show you them when we get back to school.

Try to read every day!  Remember to do 3 kind things for others- like clean your room or pick up your toys.  Parents love that!

Love,
Pawsative

P.S.  Allie the Alligator is at Mrs. Rosales’ house too.  He just sleeps all day.  Goodbye for now- I just knocked over the garbage can but I’m sure Mrs. Rosales won’t mind the mess.  😊

Learning From Home!

Please look in "Files and Documents" for activities you and your child can do to help support their learning at home.  A special folder has been created called "Extended School Closing Activities" that should be helpful.   Various websites can be found under Useful Links.  These are optional activities for you and your child.

The county has also established a website that may be useful to you called the
PWCS Home Learning Page.  It has great ideas for scheduling home learning time and links to many fantastic resources to support your child as they review and enrich what they have already learned.  These are optional activities for you and your child.
