Mrs. Taylor's Kindergarten Class

Hello! My name is Wassila Taylor and I am excited to begin another school year at Samuel L. Gravely Elementary School! I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones, but most of all, I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher. Teaching your child is a tremendous responsibility and I will do my best to ensure that each student has an engaging and exciting learning experience! Gravely is certainly a wonderful place to learn, grow, and discover, and I look forward to sharing this year with you and your child.

I joined the Gravely family in 2017, but I have been teaching children of all ages (preschool-sixth grade) since 2003. I love being an educator because there’s nothing better than seeing children unlock their own potential. I live for those “aha” moments, those moments when students realize they’re stronger and more resilient than they ever thought possible. I feel very fortunate to have your child in my class this year, and I can’t wait to grow with them!
