Extended Learning Plan

Please check your emails for Kindergarten Choice Boards.  These choice boards will be sent every Friday.

The Kindergarten Team has compiled a list of suggested activities for your student to continue to practice their reading and math skills at home. Choose the activities that work best for your student.

  • Create a reading log at home, writing down books that your child has read to you and you have read to them.
  • Play board games at home with your child (Sorry, Uno, etc.)
  • Use dice and the attached page to play some fun number games with your child.
  • Review sight words.  You can also have your child find sight words in magazines, books and in other forms of print. Sight word lists can be found in the files and documents tab on the website.
  • Create a journal, and each day have your child write one or more sentences, sharing about the thing(s) they did that day or their favorite part of the book they read.
  • Visit the following websites for fun educational games:

Your teacher will share log in information for Clever to access Dreambox for math and Raz-kids for reading.

Here are some reading strategies and tips to help your reader.
