Mrs. Tomblin's Class 2021-2022
My name is Mrs. Tomblin and I am so excited to be part of the First Grade Team here at Samuel L. Gravely! More importantly, I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year! I am eager to make this an exciting year of learning.
This is my eighth year teaching at Gravely, but my seventeenth year of teaching in Prince William County. I previously taught first grade at Yorkshire Elementary School in Manassas. I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with my Master's in Elementary Education. I absolutely love teaching first grade and find it to be such a magical year of learning and growth.
I grew up in Pennsylvania with my parents and older sister, Kristin. My husband, Randall, and I live in Manassas, with our two little girls. We have two daughters; Molly is 6 and Madison is 3. We also have a sheepadoodle named Scout.
Outside of school, you will find me spending time with my daughters and husband at the lake. I also love spending time at the beach.
This will be a great year of learning for all of the fantastic first graders in our classroom! Please do not hesitate to email me at [email protected] with any questions or concerns throughout the year. I look forward to working with each of you!
